It’s been a great year for superhero movies. In fact, it’s arguably been the best year that the genre has seen to-date.
Given the recent, somewhat shocking news that comic book movies will now be able to qualify for Oscars in the not-too-distant future, it’s only fitting that I pose the following question:
Loading ...My vote goes to Avengers: Infinity War because it is the biggest, baddest and most re-watchable superhero movie that I have ever seen! It may not be the best comic book movie of all-time but it is perhaps the most emotional and entertaining one.
From the ominous opening scene in which Loki dies, Heimdall is impaled, and the Hulk gets his jolly green butt kicked by Thanos to Thor’s triumphant arrival in Wakanda to duke it out with the aforementioned baddie, this movie has action galore, heart aplenty and shockingly “snapping” conclusions.
I’m actually re-watching it RIGHT NOW for the 10th time since I ordered it on-demand a week ago.
