Reason 1: “Streaming Is Like Breathing”
We’re living in pandemic-affected times. Streaming has become second nature. Disney+ and HBO Max are required digital platforms for movie buffs and fantasy geeks alike. DC’s Justice League: The Snyder Cut naturally fills a void.
Reason 2: “Studio Step Aside”
We all know that studios often interfere with the production timing, movie length and overall tone of huge franchises like the Justice League. And it clearly seemed to impact the overall quality (for worse) of the film. Fans were not happy. They voiced their concerns adamantly, especially via Twitter. And DC/Warner heard the noise and responded!
Reason 3: “Black Suit Superman“
This needs very little explanation. Feared dead at the end of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the Man of Steel rises from the ashes and comes back with an attitude—donning his black suit (see headline image). Need I say more?
Reason 4; “Tales from the Darkseid”
I’ll admit that Steppenwolf dominating screen time in the original studio release as the major baddie wasn’t exactly awe-inspiring. But I’m hearing the true badass of the crew is featured more prominently in the Snyder Cut. This is the most important reason I’m excited to be honest.
Reason 5: “A Few Weeks Away”
March 16, 2021 is the date. And according to my estimates, that’s 16 days away. That gives everyone more than enough time to rewatch Man of Steel, BvS, and Wonder Woman before the Snyder Cut drops. Be prepared.
