In the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., I’d like to say thanks to the multiverse for the following:
- DC comic book movies for finally finding their groove in the past year. Thank you James Gunn for the Suicide Squad and thank you Zack Snyder for the extended cut of the Justice League.
- Disney+ for keeping the momentum of the MCU’s first three phases alive on your streaming service. I see you WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki—especially Alligator 🐊 Loki!
- Jason Reitman for reviving the spirit (pun intended) of the first Ghostbusters (1984), and properly honoring the spirit Harold Ramos. RIP 🪦 legend!
- The Eternals for taking the MCU to new cosmic heights, but more importantly, for teasing the appearance of the character extremely crucial to what we’re seeing in the superhero movie genre today. Enter Blade! 🗡
- And lastly, closing out the year with Spider-Man: No Way Home. I can’t wait.
