I have really enjoyed Ahsoka after six episodes. The action is measured, the plot is well-paced, and Rosario Dawson and Ray Stevenson have really stood out.
My favorite parts of the show
I have enjoyed the Jedi training droid a lot! Huyang (voiced by Doctor Who’s David Tennant) is witty, humorous, has a design similar to something out of Battlestar Galactica (which I love), and lastly, he can really kick ass when it’s required.
My second favorite part of the show are the star whales (Purgill). I love whales and the concept of light speed travel has always fascinated me—so I naturally love this majestic combination.
Lastly, I have to acknowledge the late Ray Stevenson. I always enjoyed his on-screen performances. His turns as Frank Castle in Punisher: War Zone as well as his appearances in The Book of Eli and the Thor franchise resonate with me.
Mr. Stevenson, thanks for a final, great performance in Ahsoka, and rest in power. 🙏
